Showing the strength of his campaign, Jerry Moran announced Wednesday that his campaign had nearly $2.3 million on hand with only three weeks left in the race. During the second quarter of 2010, Moran brought in $540,000, which marks his best fund-raising quarter yet.
“Thank you to all of the supporters who’ve invested in our campaign,” said Congressman Jerry Moran. “Despite months of false, negative attacks from our opponent, you’ve played a crucial role in providing the resources we need to get the message out all across Kansas about my record of standing up for Kansas and taking on Washington’s spending.”
The campaign closed the second quarter with $2.269 million cash-on-hand and $540,000 in total receipts from the second quarter, including over $538,000 in contributions. Last quarter Moran had $3.5 million on hand, which means his campaign has spent $1 million on three months.
