Tiahrt ‘Stands Tall’ in new ad

Here’s the latest TV offering from the Tiahrt campaign – an ad titled “Stand Tall”

  1. I will Stand Up for my beliefs, and say Todd Tiahrt has no business including the background of a farm family in this advertisement! Mr. Tiahrt will quickly tell you of his fondness for agriculture, but his actions in the debate last night proved otherwise. Kansas commodities have been used, for years, in political games to put sanctions on other countries. Mr. Tiahrt backed this practice last night by denouncing Mr. Moran’s bill to open the trade barriers and help the rural economy in Kansas. In addition, at the end of the question’s discussion he laughed and said “I really care about exporting airplanes”. Like it or not, agriculture is this state’s largest industry and I would like a representative who wants to help Kansans.

  2. Congressman Moran’s bill will help the Castro brothers more than Kansans. Sorry, quick103.

  3. I would think increased trade with Cuba could open the floodgates for democracy to take hold in Cuba while helping boost the agricultural economy in Kansas. Isn’t that something we would want?

  4. No, I completely agree democracy and a republic are needed in Cuba, but I honesty don’t think increased trade will do it. The nation is so full of corruption that our American dollars just line the pockets of the politicos.
