Moran gets KFB endorsement

Big news for the Moran campaign today, as the Kansas Farm Bureau has decided to endorse his campaign for U.S. Senate.

The farmers and ranchers of the state’s leading agriculture advocacy organization today announced their endorsement of Rep. Jerry Moran in the campaign for U.S. Senate in Kansas. Kansas Farm Bureau president Steve Baccus, a grain farmer from Ottawa County, made the announcement in KFB’s Topeka offices.

“Kansas farmers and ranchers have no more vocal and effective champion than Jerry Moran,” said Baccus. “We look forward to working with Jerry in the U.S. Senate on issues that impact the lives of family farmers and rural Kansas.”

Said Moran about the endorsement:

“I’m proud to have the support, trust, and help of the Kansas Farm Bureau and Kansas farmers around the state,” said Congressman Jerry Moran. “Agriculture and farming is central to Kansas’ economy, and the Farm Bureau will be crucial in getting my strong and consistent record out across the state to voters.”
