Senate Candidate Jerry Moran announced his 2010 1st quarter fundraising numbers today as well, showing him below Tiahrt in contributions for the April reporting period, but maintaining the lead on cash on hand.
Moran’s campaign raised $346,000 in the quarter, $29,000 less than Tiahrt. However, Moran maintains $3.5 million in cash on hand, which is $2 million more than Tiahrt.
Says the release:
“Jerry’s long and consistent record of opposing bailouts, wasteful spending, and being a consistent conservative vote against increasing the size of government continues to resonate strongly with Kansans,” said Communications Director Dan Conston. “It’s a true testament to Jerry’s grassroots campaign that he maintains a near $2 million financial advantage even as he battles Washington and one of its chief appropriators Todd Tiahrt.”
