Mann mailer

Tracey Mann seems to be popping up in mailboxes across the area. The Salina Republican is the first- to our knowledge- to issue a mass mailer touting his credentials for the Big First race.

Within the four-page spread, Mann outlines his issues- including repealing Obamacare, standing up for life, marriage and the Second Amendment and defending Kansas agriculture, includes a barrage of photos showing Mann with his family, on the family farm and running track for Quinter High School and his campaign slogan- Deep roots in Kansas, not politics! The one part of the flyer that does stand out is his mention of the recent online attacks that took aim at him and his wife. But Mann concludes the statement on the attacks nicely by pointing out that Republicans should be working together instead of fighting against one another.

We assume this is only the first in what will amount to a skyscraper-height pile of mailers, push cards and other campaign lingo, but if all of the candidates produce products with the same quality as Mann, we’ll have plenty of good reading.

About Katie Stockstill-Sawyer

I am a city girl that is learning about life on the farm. I met and married a fourth-generation farmer, Derek. I am now a farmer's wife and country girl. The move has required a few changes and a lot of learning. But I wouldn't change my new life and all of the little lessons and surprises it provides.

  2. Tracy is a good kid. Judging by his FEC filing today, he has to be running on fumes financially. I think the mailers are an attempt to move out of 6th place and hope and pray some cash comes in.
