Moran, Brownback mentioned in ethics complaint

Rep. Jerry Moran and Sen. Sam Brownback have both been mentioned in an ethics complaint brought by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). The nature of the complaint revolves around the use of accommodations in a house on C Street.

The house in question is affiliated with The Fellowship, which, depending on who you talk to, is either a Bible study group for national leaders, or a sinister plot to take over the world. These days, what isn’t though?

CREW is arguing that using the house amounted to an illegal gift, saying those who used it paid less than market value in rent.

Here’s a link to the story, and yes, it’s a slow news day.
